TAG have an incredible 2nd round at Donington Park after driver #66 Josh Cook secured POLE POSITION in Saturdays Qualifying, Senna Proctor also qualifying strong in 15th, leaving it looking like a promising weekend for the Power Maxed TAG Racing boys.
Sundays Race day kicked off with a dramatic Race 1 seeing Josh Cook lead the race from start to finish achieving his maiden BTCC Race Win since his debut in 2015, giving PMTR their 2 race win of the season after only 4 races. Senna Proctor also had a very strong race battling his way threw the pack from 15th to 8th leaving him in a very strong position for the rest of the day, Unfortunately after a slight racing incident with Colin Turkington got Proctor sent to the back of the grid for Race 2.
Cook to start No1 on the grid for the 2nd race running with 75KG ballast, he had an extremely strong race before being touched by Goff sending him sideways causing him to lose places but still finishing strong in 7th ahead of ex team mate and current champion Ash Sutton, Proctor starting from the back managed to stay out of trouble climbing up to 22nd ahead of Jake Hill.
Race 3 to round out the day saw Proctor retire to the pits after being caught up in the mayhem, Cook managed to power his way back threw the pack seeing him and Adam Morgan battle it out until the end of the race, 2nd spot for Cook and PMTR and their 2nd podium of the day.
Leaving Donington Power Maxed TAG Racing topped both the TEAM Championships and MANUFACTURES Championship with Josh Cook 3rd in the DRIVERS Championship.
